Inspin.com was intended as an informational site for New York City college students; a guide to inexpensive activities, student life, neighborhoods, etc.

The logo comes from two images; the NYC skyline, and the figure of the man from a crosswalk sign.

The project was abandoned by its creators when, a week before launch, two other sites appeared offering the same services.
