Retrograde Imageworks

Initially created for the cover of a program book, for the Fall 1999 student film screenings at Rochester Institute of Technology, this digital ilustration became a desktop wallpaper. The camera is a Bolex, a 16mm motion picture camera.

Created start-to-finish in Photoshop, it was intended to recall the graphic style of late 1920s-early 1930s European advertising posters, using simple geometric shapes, lines and curves, and graduated angular shading.
