Retrograde Imageworks

The above image, the face of a compact disc, was produced for indie rock band The A-Ross Experience's debut album, 'Rock Music for Your Pleasure.'

Evolving from a request to design the band's logo, earlier computer-based designs were deemed 'too clean' by the band. Hand-drawn suggestions culminated with a rough version of what would become the design for the disc itself.
